Laughing Water Ranch Vacation Activities
Main Season: June 8 - August 24, 2008
(For May, early June, September/early October click here)Activities:
- Daily choice of short (4 hr) or long (5-7 hr) rides each day except Wednesday (rafting) and Sunday (arrivals/departures).
- Ask about our 2-night pack trips during selected weeks.
- Riding instruction is tailored to individual skill level - riding through scenic mountainous terrain or loping in the arena only.
- Kids Program - your children can be part of the Laughing Water Seventh Cavalry or our honorary Northern Cheyenne tribe.
- Fishing in two stocked trout ponds. Fishing gear (basic spinning equipment available) and off-ranch fishing can be arranged with prior notice.
- Weekly white-water rafting included in price during Family Vacation weeks.
- If you rent a car plan on spending a day visiting Glacier National Park or nearby Canada to see the historic Canadian Mounted Police post.
- As a side benefit, during the summer special events may be offered (rodeos, salmon fishing, Amish auction, etc.). These special events and weather may oblige us to do some rescheduling.

Entertainment:
- Hayrides, square dances
- Mountain-man black-powder shoot and tomahawk throw
- Volleyball games, Ping-Pong, pool table, game tables, and a large video library with a tremendous selection of Westerns, musicals and classics
