Our Western Ranch Vacation

Ours is a rather small dude ranch, capacity limited to 38, which gives us a lot of flexibility in our horseback rides (our guests love that!) and other activities, such as fishing, swimming, etc. We have horses to suit every level of riding ability...you'll have your own for the entire week! And our wranglers will give you the instruction you need to get you up in the saddle and riding the trails confidently.
For the kids we have our own "Fort Laramie" and the "Kamp Kootenai" children's program with an Indian Teepee Village.
As you can see from our Activities Schedule there's plenty to do, but don't feel like you have to do it all! Many guests seem to love just relaxing during their vacation. That's fine too! Our climate in the summer is usually 75-85 degrees, sunny, no humidity and we are smack in the middle of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Montana— on the Kootenai National Forest. Self-guided auto tours into Glacier Park (with stops along the way) and Fort Steele, Canada are available. Our White Water Raft trips have been so popular with our guests that we are now including it at no charge in our 8 day, 7 night Cowboy's Choice Family Ranch Vacation during our main season!

Program will give the children visiting our ranch a taste of the
"old west".
You'll
feel safer on your horse than on most city highways. While we won't
let you take your horse home with you, we'll reserve a horse for your
