Accommodations:
With a guest capacity of 38, comfortable western living and full service mark the accommodations at the LWR Ranch.
In the Main Lodge you will find four 2-room suites with adjoining full tiled bathrooms as well as the Chuckwagon Dining Room, Ponderosa Game Room and 2 massive fireplaces. Our beautiful log cabins named after famous western painters, are tastefully decorated with their artwork.
Each duplex cabin has a private room, bath, and covered porch on each end. The kids can have an adventure camping out in our Kamp Kootenai Indian Teepee Village and at Fort Laramie during part of their stay.

Weekly Rates:
Rates include meals, all riding, accommodations, hayrides, fishing, hiking and all the other available activities for an entire week (8 day, 7 nights) on the ranch. Here in Montana you'll have 20-30 guests sharing the Ranch's 220 acres, and surrounding 1.4 million acres of mountain scenery. Compare this to an Ocean Cruise Ship, where you have 5000 people sharing an equivalent of 5 acres of space. Rates do not include a 15% service charge (staff gratuity) and any charges for optional off-ranch excursions. Airport pick up not included. We encourage you to consider driving for additional opportunities to save $$, discover America and, once you're here, tour the beautiful area.

Daily Rate A daily rate is available by calling the Ranch (800) 847-5095. The daily rate assumes a booking minimum of 3 nights. There is limited availability for partial week stays, so we encourage you to be flexible in your vacation period if requesting a daily rate booking. We require an arrival or departure on a Sunday.
Airport pick up or drop off is $75/person on Sunday, $150/person if on any other day. A special rate of $10/person is available for pickup on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. (however it departs the airport precisely at 3:00 pm, and can't be held for delayed inbounds). A special rate of $10/person is available for drop off to the airport departing at 5:00 a.m. This is a special accommodation and can't be rescheduled. Group rate is $225 per pickup or drop off for up to 7 persons.

It is customary at dude ranches, and in the adventure travel industry generally, to tip the staff for its service. We would like to disclose our tipping policy and encourage you to ask other ranches about this very important monetary consideration when selecting your vacation destination.
In fairness to the staff and to the average customer we collect a service charge for the purpose of providing a clear and predictable means of taking care of this important matter. As a matter of custom it is just not rolled into the basic charge. Why? The "tip" is our economy's way of encouraging consistent quality service. The immediate advantage is that it provides a means with which the customer directly rewards the staff member monetarily, instead of leaving it totally up to compensation negotiated between the ranch and the employee.
The normal range of tips is between 15 and 20 percent of the basic charge for the vacation. At 15% our service charge is at the lower end of that range. Of course you may decide to leave a greater tip, as a group or individually. With almost 20 years of operation behind us, Laughing Water Ranch has a level of service in guided horseback riding, housekeeping and food service that is consistently excellent. We are confident that you will get your money's worth.

Seventh Cavalry Program
will give the children visiting our ranch a taste of the "old west".
You'll
feel safer on your horse than on most city highways. While we won't
let you take your horse home with you, we'll reserve a horse for your
